About This Cause
The April Parker Foundation is a mission-driven organization dedicated to transforming the health, social, and economic outcomes of historically neglected BIPOC communities. We believe in fostering equitable access to essential resources, supportive services, and opportunities that promote long-term sustainability and resilience. Our approach centers on five comprehensive programs designed to address critical gaps in stability, economic empowerment, health, and housing: -APCares offers holistic case management services that ensure BIPOC communities have equitable access to the vital resources they need for stability, security, and overall wellbeing. Through targeted support, we help individuals navigate systems that are often difficult to access. - APWorks drives economic development by providing business navigation services and ensuring equitable access to capital. We focus on building economic resiliency for socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, fostering entrepreneurship and financial independence. APHealth; advances health equity by offering gender, disability, and culturally affirming health education, as well as healthcare navigation services. We aim to eliminate health disparities and improve access to quality care within underserved populations. - APHomes tackles housing insecurity through comprehensive housing navigation, permanent supportive housing services, and resident stability programs. We provide solutions that not only address immediate housing needs but also foster long-term housing security. - Futures First empowers youth and young adults with life coaching, workforce development, and educational navigation services. Our goal is to equip the next generation with the tools they need to achieve personal and professional success.
