Mission Statement
The Portland Parks Conservancy enhances Portland’s parks and recreational programs by raising philanthropic capital and engaging the community.
About This Cause
The Portland Parks Conservancy was founded to support Portland’s public parks and recreational programs by raising significant private funds from corporations, foundations, and individuals. We collaborate with the City and with existing Friends groups to identify and fund projects that have significant public impact and that highlight the value of open space amenities and programs in the community. Current efforts include our Volunteer Program, the development of a Portland Youth Corps, and planning for the Portland Harbor Common Park and Riverton Trolley Park.
