Mission Statement
Nerdy Girl Success™ is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that works with high school girls teaching them new skills, providing necessary resources and helping build their network of women in leadership to educate and encourage them in the pursuit of their career leadership goals . The purpose of our programs is to help girls understand the power and importance of their voice and how to use it to affect the change they wish to see in their own lives as well as that of their communities. Part of our curriculum focuses on introducing the girls to diverse career women who are leading across all industries. These careers are not only the ones that the girls express an interest in but also those not typically introduced to girls, like the trades for example. The other part of our curriculum focuses on teaching them the soft skills that are necessary for success in school, career and life. Some examples include networking, investing and negotiation skills.
