Mission Statement
Our mission is to help homeless animals get a second chance in life. We primarily rescue animals in need in the New England area. Every animal that comes into our care is evaluated and receives the appropriate veterinary care prior to adoption.
About This Cause
We primarily rescue kittens and cats. We do take in about 5 dogs a year as well. For the kittens and cats we rescue, they come from a number of different situations - owner surrenders, friendly strays, ferals, pregnant moms, nursing mom and kittens, orphan kittens, and cats from town Animal Controls. Every animal taken in is quarantined for a minimum of 2 weeks and taken to our vet for an exam, vaccinations, and anything else they may need. We have a number of foster homes throughout CT that the animals go to so that we can further evaluate so we can best place the animal for success (both for the animal and the adopter).
