Latinx Education Collaborative (LEC) The Latinx Education Collaborative (LEC) works to create the necessary conditions for the advancement of Latino youth. We believe that education is a collective effort, and our work extends beyond the classroom to support Latino educators, students, parents, and allies in building a more equitable future. Our initiatives focus on increasing Latino educator representation, providing mentorship and professional development, and fostering culturally affirming learning environments. We also work alongside Latino parents to equip them with tools to advocate for their children’s education and engage with Latino students to inspire and prepare them for future leadership. Through collaboration with allies, we push for systemic change and inclusive policies that benefit all students. By investing in educators, families, and communities, we are shaping an education system where every Latino student has the support, role models, and opportunities they need to thrive.
