The Tacombi Foundation's mission is to advance Mexican communities through food accessibility, education, and employment training.
About This Cause
The Tacombi Foundation, established in 2019, supports communities through food accessibility, education, and employment training. We launched the Tacombi Community Kitchen (TCK) in 2020 to provide culturally relevant Mexican meals to low-income families. Working with over 40 community-based organizations, we have distributed over 1.5 million meals across major U.S. cities, including New York, Miami, and Chicago. The TCK program offers culturally appropriate ready-to-eat meals to communities often underserved by public agencies; like recently arrived immigrants, people experiencing homelessness, immigrant children and youth, and working mothers. In Jan 2025 we launched a Workforce Development Program aimed at promoting economic mobility through the restaurant industry. Rooted in the values of dignity and cultural respect, we strive to create sustainable and equitable opportunities that address systemic challenges facing immigrant and Hispanic communities.
