Mission Statement
Individuals with cancer should never feel alone on their journey. The Journey Fund is a community-based organization committed to serving individuals diagnosed with cancer who are facing barriers that affect their treatment. Donations and community resources enable us to assist individuals facing social, financial, or emotional obstacles toward a courageous journey with dignity. Our purpose is to provide these services through acts of kindness.
About This Cause
The Journey fund helps individuals diagnosed with cancer overcome social, financial, logistical, and emotional barriers that lead to treatment outcome disparity and unwanted aloneness. We believe that through holistic, supportive care, we can achieve healthcare equality in our community and ensure that no one feels alone on their journey with cancer. Currently, the Journey Fund provides urgent financial assistance; we are partnered with mental health professionals to provide timely mental health access and host community educational workshops.
