Mission Statement
Empowering DC's vulnerable youth through advocacy and outreach, our organization is dedicated to fostering resilience and hope. We offer impactful mentorship, financial integrity training, and essential resources, with a focus on supporting new and expectant parents. Together, we strive to break the cycle of homelessness and create a brighter future for every young individual in need.
About This Cause
The Pinkhouse Group Inc., is a minority and women-owned 501c3 Nonprofit Charitable Organization that focuses on a holistic approach to youth advocacy and outreach for at-risk, unhoused, pregnant, and/or displaced youth in the DMV area. We place high value on the holistic healing process, with hopes to help tackle the unresolved issues by showing acts of love, support, caring and sharing in our smaller disenfranchised communities. The Pinkhouse Group continuously strives to connect and develop collaborative partnerships that will foster a broader awareness of an isolated forgotten youth population. Our signature programs provide mentorship, build career pathways, financial integrity training, access to housing, health care/mental health counseling resources, and new/expectant parent support. We are committed to changing lives "Step by Step and Brick by Brick". Programs: Baby Steps - is a PHG Signature Program that was launched in 2021 that provides support, empowers and provides high quality resources to unhoused expectant teen moms and at-risk pregnant youth in the community. The Mighty Kings of PHG - a signature mentorship program of The Pinkhouse Group, launched on September 2, 2020. The Mighty Kings Signature Program focuses on mentoring and developing at-risk, unhoused and displaced males between the ages of 15 and 24. We recognized that the unhoused youth may not have the strength, support and vision to overcome their challenges, and decided collectively to start a program that was a two-fold process: "Extend a hand to start uplifting the youth and Give something that no matter how much of it you spend you can’t get it back --- which is “Time”.
