About This Cause
Rainbow City Softball was founded as a space for organized sports where players can have fun, build community, and thrive. Historically a women’s softball league for the past 28 years, RCS wanted to honor the original intent of the league of creating an inclusive space where people could come together and play softball in a safe environment free of bigotry and judgment. As time passed and our community changed, we found it vital to change our name along with it and redefine who is an eligible player. Rainbow City Softball is open to all cis women, trans women, trans men, and non-binary players. Our core values of community, integrity, teamwork, safety, and respect are the heart of our organization. We believe these values foster an inclusive space where every player feels welcomed, respected, supported, and appreciated.
