Mission Statement
STEAM Ahead is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that aims to uplift historically underrepresented communities by delivering transformative STEAM programs to close the education gap. We take intentional steps to educate, build communities, and foster social-emotional learning, instilling youth with the confidence to excel in both the classroom and beyond.
About This Cause
Due to the high demand of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) jobs throughout the country, we believe that S.T.E.A.M. education is an opportunity to provide lifetime mobility for the most vulnerable demographic and underrepresented youth. We are determined to show youth that a S.T.E.A.M. education can create generational change and serve as a deterrent against the many pitfalls and traps that lead youth down non-productive and destructive pathways. As an organization, we take intentional steps to educate, build communities, and foster social-emotional learning, instilling youth with the confidence to excel in both the classroom and beyond. We center our initiatives around the following focus areas: STEAM Exposure, STEAM Consulting, Workforce Readiness,Community Outreach.
