Mission Statement
Warren Village exists so that previously homeless, single parent families can achieve sustainable personal and economic self-sufficiency.
About This Cause
Warren Village operates three on-site, integrated programs: HOUSING: Without safe, consistent and affordable housing, any other efforts at reversing the cycle of poverty are destined to fail. We offer 93 one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments accommodating families of up to six children and one adult. THE GRETA HORWITZ LEARNING CENTER: Children who experience homelessness and poverty show significant delays as early as 18 months that can later contribute to behavioral and emotional problems. Warren Village offers nationally accredited early care and education through our learning center which can accommodate as many as 106 children ages 6 weeks to 10 years. FAMILY SERVICES: Our support services are the heart of our program. We provide the resources our clients need to change and improve their lives. Skilled and dedicated advocates help residents by providing post-secondary education assistance, career exploration and guidance, financial literacy skills and plans for long-term housing.
