Mission Statement
The Colorado Genealogical Society exists to promote an interest in genealogy by educating and encouraging its members and the public, supporting the genealogy community in Colorado, and helping to identify and make genealogical and historical resources available to researchers.
About This Cause
The Colorado Genealogical Society is a membership organization that holds monthly program meetings, beginning genealogy and writing classes, occasional special interest programs, and an annual seminar with a nationally known speaker. All events are open to the public. The Society also publishes a quarterly journal, purchases genealogical resources to donate to the Denver Public Library genealogy collection, and hosts a monthly small group lunch gathering at a local restaurant.
