About This Cause
Dance Express is an inclusive dance company founded in Fort Collins in 1989 to bring the joy of dance and access to the arts to people of all abilities. With OUR MISSION to IMPROVE LIVES THROUGH DANCE, Dance Express directly serves persons with and without disabilities in northern Colorado. We reach beyond the region with our messages that normalize and value inclusion; enhance creative expression; facilitate access to the arts; and help individuals contribute meaningfully and purposefully to our culture. Annually, Dance Express produces dance and dance theatre concerts in May and December, hosts a regional inclusive dance convening in October, makes guest appearances, and offers adaptive dance workshops in schools and community centers.
