About This Cause
Colorado Youth Outdoors is "Where Relationships Grow" we build relationships through traditional outdoor recreation. Our main focus area is parents and kids through our CORE Program. We go deep with these pairs to invest the time necessary to learn and grow these skills over a 12-week semester. We also partner with over 40 other non-profits, annually, to help them better serve their populations. By lending our 220-acre facility, trained staff, and vetted curriculum, we are able to reach wide in serving the community. Weaved into everything we do is our PACD (participate, appreciate, communicate, dedicate) model which focuses on the tools needed for healthy relationship building. Traditional outdoor recreation is the avenue in which we teach these skills and the out of doors provides the ideal environment for quality time spent together. To sum it up we are All About Relationships and we invest in that through education-recreation.
