About This Cause
Founded in 2017 by Dr. Celine Gounder, Just Human Productions began with a single storytelling project to elevate public health coverage beyond traditional media. Today, we are a non-profit thought leader informing the public, healthcare professionals, policymakers, and the press on their unique roles in bridging the health gap, inspiring each to create change. More than ever, our communities need evidence-based stories and solutions-oriented analysis to make decisions in the face of complex, layered crises. To provide these resources, we lead with on-demand audio — one of the fastest-growing forms of media in the United States — to share in-depth coverage of our most pressing public health challenges. We empower audiences to shift public perception, correct structural injustices, and reinvent systems of care. With these tools, we lay the foundation to form a more equitable and resilient society.
