About This Cause
To be the church we have to look at the world and ask "how can we be culturally relevant in the current climate?" This question guides everything we do. It was once said "people do not care how much you know, until they know how much you care" and by meeting the basic needs of the world (food, water, a hug, a shoulder to cry on) we can begin to rethink church and what it is meant to be. Our current focus is delivering water filtration devices and medicine to Cuba, our neighbor to the south, which is in an unprecedented time of economic despair. Cubans need clean water and medicine more than ever and we are delivering this Christ 1-2 times per year on trips to the island. In addition we are looking to partner domestically with organizations who are working to feed the hungry, help the broken to heal and working to cast love into our local backyard communities.
