Mission Statement
The objectives of the PS 316 PTA are: 1) To foster programs that enable parents to become partners with the school in the education of their children. 2) To provide opportunities and training for parents to participate in school governance and educational decision making, and encourage parent participation at all levels. 3)To promote and develop a cooperative working relationship between parents and staff. 4) To promote an active educational environment for students and to provide support and resources to the school for the benefit and growth of all children. 5) To provide an opportunity for parent education and development.
About This Cause
PS 316 Elijah G Stroud Parent Teacher Association supports the activities of PS 316, a PreK through 5th grade public elementary school in the Crown Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY. PS 316 is a certified International Baccalaureate school with a multidisciplinary curriculum that emphasizes the arts. We are proud of our diverse group of learners, phenomenal teachers and dedicated staff.
