Mission Statement
The Chavez High School Band Boosters, Inc. supports the band programs at HISD's Cesar E. Chavez High School in Houston, Texas. Our sole purpose it to support the Chavez High School Band in its mission to permanently enrich the lives of young people through a commitment to youth development and performance excellence, for the benefit of our local community and society.
About This Cause
Cesar E. Chavez High School in Houston ISD is a Title 1 high school, with a large majority of our students in the low-income bracket. We believe that music education should be equally accessible for all. We provide support to enhance the learning experience for students in the band programs, including: marching band, concert band, mariachi, jazz, and color guard.
