Mission Statement
Code Red: Youth of the Nation is a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to creating safe learning environments for all K-12 students. We strive to stop school shootings and support our students mental health through advocacy, education, and awareness initiatives that equip parents, students, teachers, and administrators with the tools, resources and tangible solutions to create safe learning environments.
About This Cause
Code Red: Youth of the Nation exists because our children are at risk. Youth mental health statistics have been trending in the wrong direction year over year, and there has been an exponential increase in school shootings. With over three hundred school shootings during the 2021-22 school year, the highest on record, we continue adding to the 323,000 students who have experienced gun violence on school campuses since Columbine. We are an apolitical organization that has formed a multi-tiered approach to become the agent of change for the safety of our students in K-12 schools. The Foundation has set out to become the national organization synonymous with school safety in America by providing tangible, turnkey solutions to keep our children safe.
