Mission Statement
It is our mission to provide a safe and positive space for individuals seeking recovery by providing fitness and community to aid in the recovery process, promote a healthy, active lifestyle and to shift the identities of someone who struggles from addiction to someone who is physically and mentally strong and fully capable of a recovered quality of life.
About This Cause
Recover Out Loud, Inc., founded by President, John Cunningham, in April of 2018, based on the concept of psychological study of "Rat Park" , to utilize connection and motion to recover from addiction. October 2019, ROL became an official 501c3 nonprofit organization serving 6 counties in south central Indiana. We are a recovering active community that strives to create an environment that is inclusive to all path of recovery, striving to long-term sobriety with a holistic approach! Our services range from peer support groups, our R-FIT program (recovery fitness in training), annual recovery events, community awareness events, Crossroads of Recovery field trip program networking with recovery communities statewide, sports and recreational activities, traveling and music venues, and other sober activities and community engagement. We thrive in building leaders and being strong advocates for the recovery community.
