Mission Statement
The mission of the Organization is to promote and support social, cultural, educational, charitable and recreational activities for the benefit of Sri Lankans and other individuals living in the Greater Portland area and the rest of the United States
About This Cause
The association was established in 2020 to promote the general welfare of Sri Lankans residing in the Greater Portland Area and those interested in the nation of Sri Lanka, to establish a meeting ground and foster social activities in the community. SLAO further provides an active and enduring interest in Sri Lanka by providing historical, educational and cultural information.
