Mission Statement
Our mission, as a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is to celebrate, promote, build, and foster an inclusive and diverse LGBTQIA+ community where all are honored and valued. Our goal is to grow the LGBTQIA+ Community in White Center, Washington in leading initiatives and organizing events all year long.
About This Cause
Established in 2019, White Center Pride began out of a desire to unite the LGBTQIA+ persons in our area with the businesses, neighbors, and leaders of the White Center community. Our purpose is to give voice to these individuals in hopes of building and growing relationships thus strengthening the White Center neighborhood. By building this foundation for the growing LGBTQIA+ presence, it not only introduces and familiarizes the friendly businesses and leaders of the community, but also shows where best to support those business in our community. We are the only organization in the neighborhood that does this type of LGBTQIA+ outreach. We host an annual Pride Street festival in downtown White Center as well as other events throughout the year to build the LGBTQ+ community.
