Find Ventures nurtures and funds underrepresented founders at the earliest stage to seed a generation of diverse founders and innovation for all.
About This Cause
Find Ventures envisions a world where all entrepreneurs, regardless of ethnicity, gender, ability, or sexual orientation, have an equitable opportunity in building companies and a confident shot at solving our greatest challenges. We seek to democratize entrepreneurship by prioritizing people of color, women, LGBTQ+, people with disabilities, and low-income founders and fuel them at the earliest stage of business development. The roadblock is known. Access to first financing rounds is difficult for a brand-new founder, especially if they are women, BIPOC and LGBTQ, and verges on impossible for those without connections to mentors, investors, talent, and resources. Federal data shows only 10% of venture-backed companies have a female founder and only 1% have a black founder. Over the years incubators, accelerators, and mentorship programs have been developed in an attempt to address this roadblock, but the gulf between talent and opportunity remains as wide as it is unjust. Find Ventures is the solution to clear this roadblock. By fueling a cohort of diverse founders at the earliest stage with capital, robust resources, and industry connections we will uniquely seed a generation of outside founders.
