Mission Statement
Our goal is to help keep Blues Music alive and to do that we must get the younger people into the Blues. The Tony Colter Foundation will generate a music scholarship for youth in Baltimore City. We will raise money to buy a child an instrument, provide them with in person music lessons at music school, give a tablet d for any virtual learning opportunities and give them special course on the Blues. This is an annual scholarship we will present to a child who attends Baltimore City public schools. To keep the Blues going we must take it to the next generation while also honoring the musicians who came before us.
