Mission Statement
Undestructable is a nonprofit organization that will provide an employment program for survivors of Domestic and Intimate Partner Violence. Our goal is to help survivors on their journey toward gaining financial independence. We will do this through an employment program that not only enables with an income along with life and job skills training, but also promotes the healing and rediscovery of each survivor's innate self-worth by creating sustainable products made from consumer waste. Our Motto: Reclaimed. Reimagined. Rebuilt.
About This Cause
Did you know that Domestic and Intimate Partner Violence is a non-discriminating epidemic in our country in which 1 in 4 women experience severe intimate partner physical violence with impacts such as injury, fearfulness, post-traumatic stress disorder, contraction of sexually transmitted diseases, etc? Or, that 99% of survivors experience financial abuse in addition to other forms of violence? We want to change that. Undestructable is a nonprofit organization working with survivors of Domestic Violence and Intimate Partner Violence on their journey to gain financial independence from their perpetrators and RECLAIM their innate self-worth. We will do this through an employment program that not only empowers her with an income, life and job skills, but also promotes healing and the rediscovery of her innate self-worth by creating sustainable products made from post consumer waste.
