Mission Statement
The Child Loss Center Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides resources, support, and services to empower grieving parents and families who are hurting from infertility, pregnancy loss, or infant and child death. We also educate medical, clinical, and community professionals on emotional and mental health matters related to supporting families after child loss.
About This Cause
The Child Loss Center Inc. is designed to address the holistic needs of parents who are grieving after experiences of child loss. The center uses our E.A.S.E. model, which provides Empowerment (trauma-, grief-, and culturally-informed health services), Advocacy (awareness, research, and policy change), Support (self- and community care resources), and Education (publication and trainings) to assist parents and families who have experienced infertility, pregnancy, infant, and child loss. Interwoven is our focus on dismantling historical, systematic, and racial disparities that regard maternal and infant health and our desire to empower and promote wellness for current and future generations.
