Mission Statement
The Mission of the Seattle Out & Proud Foundation is to educate members of the public about the LGBTQIA+ community and the rights of its members, eliminate discrimination against and further the civil rights of members of the LGBTQIA+ community, and to connect, inspire and strengthen the LGBTQIA+ community by promoting the arts and supporting leadership development.
About This Cause
The Seattle Out & Proud Foundation (SO&P Foundation) is a 501c(3) non-profit foundation, directly related to Seattle Out & Proud (“Seattle Pride”), a 501c(4) non-profit, and is an entirely volunteer-run organization. It exists to create more opportunities to connect, inspire and strengthen the LGBTQIA+ community through education, the arts, and leadership development, while also providing a wider pool from which to make grants.
