Mission Statement
Silicon Valley Cybersecurity Institute (SVCSI), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (public charity), aims to train underrepresented groups in cybersecurity areas supported by professional cybersecurity practitioners including faculty and industry professionals through various activities at SVCSI. With industry partners, we leverage our local communities including high schools, colleges, and universities in designing various cybersecurity activities for future cybersecurity workforce development. In particular, our center focuses on underrepresented groups, called UNiSEC, to increase their interest in cybersecurity as a career. The UNiSEC is an underrepresented group who is interested in cybersecurity for the inclusion of under-served (women, African American/Black, Hispanic/Latinx, Native American, and others) based on the NSF definition.
About This Cause
Your company sponsorship and donation will help us to support our strategy and plans for the UNiSEC group as effectively as possible. The tumultuous past years have had a direct impact on giving - such may continue to influence how donors manage their philanthropy every year through SVCSI. Your sponsorship will be used to support the following important activities (summer camps, annual conference, workshops & training, research) in the cybersecurity community for the UNiSEC group while supporting our effective operations and management for SVCSI .
