Mission Statement
The mission of Mealsonuspdx is to provide nutritious and delicious meals, at no cost to individuals experiencing hunger and food insecurity within our community. We believe that everyone, regardless of gender identity, sexual orientation, race, religion, or economic circumstances, deserves to have reliable and consistent food sources. We are committed to doing everything we can to fill the gaps in our food system and prioritize serving those marginalized communities that are most in need.
About This Cause
Our primary service offered is providing ready to eat hot meals to homeless camps run by our partner organizations. We aim to keep a 1:1 ratio of meals provided to partners and free meals provided to the community through our Mutual Aid and Nonprofit partners. We also act as a distribution hub for hard goods, such as tents, sleeping bags, winter clothes, socks, etc., that people can pick up and distribute to camps and community members in need.
