Mission Statement
The mission of Clavadistas del Sol is to provide the citizenry of Scottsdale with a dive program that meets and exceeds the norms established by previous programs. Through the enthusiastic efforts of the coaching staff and parent group, a program will be created and maintained which will afford the City of Scottsdale international recognition in the field of diving.

Through the enthusiastic efforts of the coaching staff and parent group, a program will be created and maintained which will afford the City of Scottsdale international recognition in the field of diving. • A diving program for beginning, intermediate, advanced, senior and masters divers for an affordable price in an excellent training facility. • A diving program that improves the quality of life of its participants by contributing to their physical, mental and social well being. • A diving program that makes it possible for diving to learn new skills and enhance their self-esteem. • A diving program that will allow individuals to engage in social interaction in a non-threatening atmosphere allowing for the development of friendships among the athletes and augmentation of their social skills. • A diving program that is accessible to persons with disabilities and to those who are economically deprived. • A diving program which stimulates family participation in the interaction between the club, community groups, and interested individuals. • A diving program that affords interested citizens the opportunity to become involved in this athletic endeavor while instilling in them a sense of pride in the City of Scottsdale.
