Mission Statement
The continuing purpose of this congregation, as a gathering of Christians, is to spread to all people in God’s world the glory of the cross of Christ, by sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ on the basis of the Holy Scriptures (1 Peter 2:24; Matthew 28: 18-20; Mark 16:15).
About This Cause
Forgiveness. A transformed heart. Eternal life. Freedom from guilt over sin and fear of death. When we realize all the things God has done for us through Christ, we can’t help but respond. He acted on our behalf out of pure grace, love that we never deserved. Now, living in the effects of that grace, we do all we can to serve him in thankfulness for what he’s done, knowing that we are merely stewards of the gifts God has given us (1 Peter 4:10). We seek to bring that grace to others by the lives we live. We take part in community events to show our love for those around us. We offer our own events to invite them to see what it's like to be part of a church family. We seek to be generous to those in need by providing what they need. We give to food banks and pregnancy centers. We support efforts on a nearby reservation with our time and money. We're part of larger efforts through the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS) to help others we can't reach on our own both here in the United States as well as countries around the world. All this and more we do in order that others might see the love of Christ in our lives and in this way get to know his love themselves.
