Mission Statement
Mission Statement: Empowering Young Parents Inc. (EYP) is a transformative program rooted in Dallas, TX, and Washington, DC, designed to uplift and support young parents ages 14 to 25. Our mission is to provide a nurturing and empowering environment where young mothers and fathers can access the resources, guidance, and community support they need to thrive. We are driven by the belief that every young parent—regardless of their background or circumstances—deserves a real chance to succeed, build a future for their family, and reach their full potential. Purpose Statement: The purpose of Empowering Young Parents Inc. (EYP) is to eliminate the stigma and barriers young parents often face, replacing them with encouragement, tools, and tangible support. Our program exists to create a safe space where young people who are parenting can grow emotionally, academically, and professionally. Through mentoring, life skills training, advocacy, and community connections, EYP helps young parents redefine their narratives—not as statistics, but as students, leaders, providers, and role models. We are here to remind them that their journey does not end with parenthood—it evolves. Vision Statement: At Empowering Young Parents Inc. (EYP), we envision a future where young parents are no longer overlooked, but instead celebrated as strong, capable individuals raising the next generation. Our vision is of a world where every young mother and father has access to a full circle of support—educational pathways, career opportunities, mental health resources, and strong community networks. We strive to build a culture where young parents are seen, heard, and valued, and where their families flourish in dignity, hope, and self-determination.
About This Cause
Elevate Her 2nd Annual Women's Conference. An empowering conference where seasoned mothers who embarked on parenthood in their youth, lead with wisdom and support to young mothers navigating similar pasts. Together, we will celebrate resilience, mentorship, and the transformative power of generations uniting and uplifting one another.
