Mission Statement
The mission of Lyon-Martin Community Health Services is to provide compassionate and trauma-informed medical, gynecological, and mental health care services to trans, non-binary, gender non-conforming, and intersex communities and cis-women with sensitivity to LGBQA sexual orientation, disability, race, ethnicity, and language regardless of immigration status or ability to pay. We aim to eliminate health inequities for our communities by rooting our clinical practice in core foundational frameworks of intersectionality, self-determination, harm reduction, and reproductive and disability justice.
About This Cause
Lyon-Martin's services include primary care, gender affirming care, obstetrics and gynecology, psychiatry, therapy, case management, care coordination, physical therapy, nutrition counseling, gender affirming speech therapy and hair removal, homeless outreach, mobile street medicine, guaranteed income for trans people (GIFT), and provider education, training and technical assistance.
