About This Cause
USDR places experienced, pro-bono technologists to work with government and organizations responding to moments of crisis, to quickly deliver critical services and infrastructure that support the needs of the public. We’re non-partisan, fast, and free. We help state and local governments & non-government organizations in need tap into tech talent, access modern technology, learn from best practice based on our success stories of our state & local partners, and we deliver solutions in days and weeks. We are nonpartisan, unbiased tech strategists that help partners understand and vet your options before you commit to a solution. We offer skills-based volunteering opportunities for technologists to make direct impacts on the public. You'll help governments deliver critical services to those who need them & gain insights on working directly with government partners. Our volunteers are empathetic, communicative, experienced and organized professionals that offer their time & expertise to support USDR projects. Great candidates bring experiences from a variety of backgrounds, including technology, government, and communications. Above all, they take an agile, iterative approach to discovering human-centric solutions with our government partners.
