Mission Statement
We are an alternative approach to the conventional or western ways of promoting health education to the community. Our goal is to help foster mental health awareness and emotional support through a vast and complex platform of programs, projects and events that will allow individuals seeking assistance an opportunity to select a method conducive to how they want to take back their power by freeing themselves from life's everyday challenges. Our long term goal is to create a long term desire of educating ourselves as we help our community by listening, learning and supporting our community. This is what empowers us in our movement of wholesome, recreational and holistic approaches that will aide in the enrichment we are giving back to the community handling as many situations at a time. We are striving to always be an organization filled with passionate everyday volunteers working along side a vast majority of professionals helping to create awareness of the mental health disparities within the community. Advocating and working with individuals who are struggling with life's triggers, providing them with services of recreational activities, neighboring resources and professional referrals to access necessary care beyond the scope of what we offer for those who have severe cases that require a medical touch and care. We are a public charity of individuals who are living or have lived and have overcome or are still overcoming similar lives and have experienced life just as our community has faced environmental, social emotional, physical, verbal, and mental abuse. The goal is to foster hope and redemption through various recreational and holistic approaches in the lives of those who feel hopeless, helping them to reboot, restart, reprogram and finally reclaim their lives in a healthy manner. This is our give back to our community.
About This Cause
A dedicated team of volunteers working to structure and plan for the organization while facilitating our online flagship and other programs. We currently operate in Connecticut, online, and support business in NY. Our flagship program, talk about it Tuesday, project roger has two programs under it's wing called mood and food and arts together healing, our manners only bar for kids and families, a united series for individuals who use faith based initiatives as a form of rejuvenation, redemption, freedom of all things cumbersome or troublesome. These program are called united in Prayer and united in understanding. We facilitate fundraisers such as movie nights and do collaborate with churches and community centers in our communities and service areas to facilitate events and programs. The community has opened their hearts to us and we want to be in a financial position to carry on all of the great work created off the back of uncompensated volunteers who dedicate their time to our cause.
