Mission Statement
Our goal is to coordinate and combine great minds together so that we can build healthy relationships with all people of all nationalities and backgrounds. AMT Up 3D provides a high quality of support for health and fitness, learning, growing and developing through the art of double dutch, healthy movement, brainstorming, and actively listening. As a community we strive to create a safe environment for kids, teens, and adults to show their skills, train and shape who they are as people through experiences, mentorship opportunities, volunteer and leadership training. AMT Up 3D is an organization, with the desire to create programs focused on community-based programs with the goals of improving health outcomes (both mental and physical), goal attainment, community connection and joy! AMT Up 3D provides double dutch services, mentorship, skill building, leadership, active listening skills, and social skills to the public for healthy living. Double Dutch is a main source that enhances and strengthens the ability to collaborate and work as a team. Double Dutch also helps with anxiety, social emotional behaviors and depression. By providing these services to the public, it’s helping build leaders within the the community because they see people who are representatives of themselves being successful. Double Dutch helps children develop coordination and strong motor skills, such as jumping, and promotes good sportsmanship, competition, teamwork, and healthy exercise.
About This Cause
AMT Up 3D is aimed to service the community of all nationalities, gender and backgrounds. AMT Up 3D will plan, staff and document a series of double dutch education, community engagement and school events in the Seattle / King County region. We will do this by recruiting from a group of dedicated coaches who will serve as turners, educators, and cheerleaders for kids and adults who want to participate during each session. AMT Up 3D is planning for partnership s with Break Camps, Summer Child Care Programs and afterschool programs. These programs are in existence currently and will plan for future partnership. In all of the communities that we serve, there is a higher population of lower income families, as well as African American, African born, Asian American and Immigrant students who attend or have the most interest. AMT UP 3D provides services to the community for free. AMT Up 3D is able to provide free services to the community, by using funds from approved and granted funds from different funders. Attendees must sign in and out, participate and follow the guidelines of the program. AMT Up 3D provides drop-in services as well as scheduled double dutch services.
