Mission Statement
We are an authoritative voice in the stripper’s rights movement. Our focus is to create a safe and equitable work environment for strippers across the U.S. We strive to advocate for the diverse community of people who call themselves strippers. And our ultimate vision is to dismantle whorephobia and decriminalize sex work.
About This Cause
We are educating strippers of their workers rights to create safer, healthier and less exploitive work environments. We are a group of diverse individuals, mostly made up of sex workers, but also comprised of comrades that lend their talent towards organizing, amongst other things. Strippers United is a grassroots organization, one that started off extremely small with zero funding, and went up against the strip club industry. Since our inception, we have guided and supported a group of strippers to organize and eventually unionize. We have grown as a team and as a community and are still going up against an entire industry, one that exploits its workers by practicing constant wage theft and assault inn various ways. We exist to support strippers and sex workers.
