Mission Statement
Montlake Futures' mission is to develop name, image, and likeness opportunities for University of Washington student-athletes that benefit the missions of 501(c)(3) charitable organizations.
About This Cause
Founded in November 2021, Montlake Futures is the #1 producer of name, image, and likeness opportunities for University of Washington student-athletes. Every donation to Montlake Futures funds an NIL deal for a UW student-athlete that benefits the mission of a 501(c)(3) organization. We work closely with our nonprofit partners to develop opportunities that create significant value for their missions and key goals. We also work with UW athletics coaches and staff to ensure our work benefits student-athletes and aligns with UW's values. Montlake Futures works with every varsity UW team; donors may give to our general fund or specify which team they want to fund deals for. In the past, donations have enabled: - UW Football players to serve food at a cookout event for Hunger Intervention, reaching and uplifting members of the community that suffer from food insecurity - UW Men's Basketball players to promote work for Big Brothers Big Sisters, helping to encourage volunteerism amongst men of color - UW Women's Basketball players to appear in a marketing campaign for Seattle Humane Society, spreading awareness about adoption
