Mission Statement
We do our part to attack the plague of suicide that is decimating the ranks of our most elite warriors. Our share of the task is to build a community that these warriors and their families can fall into when they leave the SEAL Teams. We provide training, networking and employment opportunities for our country's most elite warriors so they can successfully come out of the shadows to continue to contribute to the well being of our society. We do this by providing placement and access to leaders in the corporate sector for mentorship and to build experience across the breadth of civilian industry. BTB provides intermediate employment opportunities so our candidates can complete necessary training and education on their way to their next life mission.
About This Cause
Beyond the Brotherhood is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to helping Navy SEALs of character make a successful transition to the civilian sector. These elite warriors have spent their lives in the shadows, quietly protecting American interests and lives around the globe. Working in this capacity is extremely taxing on their personal lives, as they often cannot share where they are going, when they will be back and what they are doing with loved ones. Most of our operators are highly capable individuals, but due to the nature of their work, they make the transition alone without any network or infrastructure to support them and at an age where entry-level positions are not suitable for their skill sets or station in life. Additionally, they often have injuries that require special attention and training for them to overcome during transition. Beyond the Brotherhood bridges the gap for these warriors to re-enter the civilian world. We work to provide the necessary pieces of the education and qualification puzzle as well as build the connections for them to successfully transition. As they complete the necessary education requirements, we provide intermediate employment opportunities at Beyond the Brotherhood and provide a professional network. If they have special needs based on injuries sustained during their career, we partner with other organizations to ensure they have access to regenerative medicine and support through the process. If they are interested in starting their own businesses, we offer mentorship and grants to get their idea off the ground and access to captains of industry who can help them make their product or service a reality. We have witnessed Navy SEAL name and reputation used to raise funds and then distributed to a wide array of uses that while worth-while, do not directly serve the operators. At Beyond the Brotherhood, we focus our efforts entirely on Navy SEAL Operators.
