Mission Statement
Our mission is to serve as a conduit connecting Marin County, California, with the Central Region, Ghana, to create a holistic approach to wellness through the exchange of resources, cultural traditions, vocational training and educational ideas for all community members. We will transform the cultural disconnect and create a more global community which has the potential to strengthen our capacity in humanity.
About This Cause
Our inspiration comes from The Year of Return 2019, a call to action for the diaspora of African descendants of enslaved ancestors to return home to the Motherland. Today the call to the African diaspora continues. Facilitating Change will carry on this vision beyond the Year of Return by engaging our communities in four key programs: Environmental Education & Wellness - Vocational and Educational Exchange - Sharing Container - CrossCultural Collaboration
