Mission Statement
Our vision is to live in a fully accessible world where everybody has access to art, dance, and culture, no matter their situation, background, or beliefs. We plan to do this by initiating and joining global networks with like-minded collaborators working together to raise awareness about inclusion, diversity, and equality through dance. We hope to form a strong alliance with US organizations that share our vision of bringing art to all. DK-BEL: Dance for everybody
About This Cause
DK-BEL Company is a team of passionate people who create and perform inclusive shows in France and abroad. Since it was founded in Paris in 2004, it has been promoting art and dance to the most vulnerable audiences. We have also recently become a legal entity in the US with non-profit status (501(c)(3)) DK-BEL's actions centre around 3 main values: • Artistic creation for ALL and coming together: Developing the social bond. • For humanity to be at the heart of all projects: Changing perspectives. • To be part of an international network through the sharing of art: Opening up to the world DK-BEL’s network has already spread throughout Europe and into Africa promoting this common mission by implementing events, seminars, residencies, workshops, and training. We promote accessibility, inclusion, and equality using dance to raise awareness and increase opportunities for everybody to take part.
