Mission Statement
To build and nurture an open and inclusive consortium that will enable insights, knowledge and applications from multiple data sources about behaviors, including what people eat, how they exercise, sleep patterns, and their level of social interaction to improve personal and population health, and social wellbeing.
About This Cause
HealthUnity is a 501(c)3 tax exempted non-profit organization focusing on behavioral data in order to improve physical and mental health. We aim to develop the largest open data consortium for behavioral data, to foster an open research community around this open data to mine for insights and knowledge, and to empower an open innovation community to build the next generation of digital health applications. The goal of these efforts is ultimately to improve disease prevention and management of chronic conditions for better outcomes, especially in underserved populations.
