Mission Statement
At A2SV, we're transforming the landscape of education and opportunity in Africa. Our mission is to uplift high-potential university students by providing them with a free, three-month rigorous training program and connecting them with career and mentorship opportunities at global tech giants such as Google, Palantir, and LinkedIn. We go further by creating digital solutions to address urgent issues within their home countries. What sets us apart is our commitment to incorporating students' ventures into our organization, ensuring that their skills and innovations directly benefit Africa. Our program is free, eliminating financial barriers for talented youth, and enabling them to use their skills for the betterment of the continent.
About This Cause
A2SV currently operates in Ethiopia and Ghana and also reaches over 25 African countries via its remote education program. A2SV has trained over 700 students thus far, landed 57 opportunities at top tech companies, and created 5 innovative projects serving local communities. A2SV's vision and platform are one-of-a-kind: Alongside its free training program, it helps develop and incubate student-initiated and led projects into incorporated ventures, thereby providing a vehicle for going beyond traditional training and delivering concrete impact. Offering students an ecosystem to actualize their ideas means that up-and-coming developers use their skills to solve pressing issues across Africa, rather than taking their talent elsewhere.
