Founded in 1966, the ACLU of Nevada is an affiliate of the national ACLU and works to defend and advance the civil liberties and civil rights of all Nevadans.

The ACLU of Nevada is a non-partisan, nonprofit organization that works to defend and advance the civil liberties and civil rights of all Nevadans. The ACLU of Nevada works in three areas: public education, advocacy, and litigation. The ACLU of Nevada is the only organization in Nevada dedicated exclusively to protecting the constitutional rights and liberties of every individual in the state and works on nearly every systemic issue with a civil rights implication statewide.
