Mission Statement
Our mission is to: Provide educational resources and mentorship to nurture the next generation of leaders by engaging youth in community service and humanitarian efforts that instill values of giving back and empowering young adults through leadership development and transitional support services. Our organization provides assistance and care for elderly and disabled community members, cultivating an inclusive environment that celebrates diversity and excellence. We strive to create a brighter future by investing in our youth, strengthening community bonds, and promoting lifelong learning and service. Together, we can build a society of empowered, ethical, and engaged citizens.
About This Cause
Teaching Our Youth Excellence is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering young people and strengthening communities through comprehensive educational, leadership, and service programs. Our mission is to nurture the next generation of ethical leaders and engaged citizens by providing resources, mentorship, and opportunities for personal and professional growth. We believe that investing in our youth is key to creating a more just, compassionate, and equitable society. Our core programs include: Youth Mentorship & Tutoring We pair students with caring mentors and tutors who provide academic support, college preparation guidance, and life skills coaching. Our goal is to foster confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning. Leadership Development: Through workshops, retreats, and hands-on projects, we cultivate essential leadership abilities in areas such as public speaking, teamwork, problem-solving, and social entrepreneurship. Community Service Initiatives: We engage youth in meaningful volunteer work and humanitarian efforts that address local needs. From environmental cleanups to food drives, these experiences teach the value of giving back. Transition Support Services: Our case managers assist young adults aging out of foster care or juvenile facilities with job readiness training, housing assistance, counseling, and other resources for a successful transition. Elderly & Disabled Support: We provide in-home care services, transportation assistance, social activities, and resource connections to support the wellbeing, independence, and inclusion of elderly and disabled community members.
