Mission Statement
The mission of the Club is to provide members education, skill in paddling, and a sense of cultural traditions and Aloha Spirit embodied in the sport of Hawaiian outrigger canoe racing. The Club also sponsors activities of community goodwill as determined by the Membership.
About This Cause
The Kanaka Outrigger Canoe Club ("KOCC") is dedicated to sharing and preserving the cultural traditions, paddling skills, and Aloha Spirit that are central to Hawaiian outrigger canoe racing. Thanks to the generosity of donors, KOCC is able to provide meaningful education and experiences for its members while also sponsoring community goodwill activities. This support directly impacts the organization's ability to keep these cherished traditions alive and foster a sense of community both on and off the water. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with Tax ID: 88-1485118, donations to KOCC are tax-deductible. Together, with the support of donors, KOCC continues to honor the traditions of Hawaiian culture and share the Aloha Spirit with the community and beyond.
