Daarun Nusrah Inc’s mission is to promote a better understanding of religion as peace, thereby serving as a bridge-builder between faiths and communities. Daarun Nusrah Inc seeks to serve the Brooklyn community and the broader community in general. The organization is guided and managed by qualified leaders and aspires to cooperate and network with other organizations for the common good and benefit of humanity.
About This Cause
COMMUNITY SERVICES The community center that will house the organization’s programs and services. Within the community center, there will be many resources and support services available to those in need within the community. The community center will be a one-stop shop for self-sufficiency and personal, social, and educational development. Some of these services and resources are listed below: • Classrooms – The community center will have a series of classrooms, in which we plan to provide: Tutoring – increase participants performance at their schools/universities, ACT prep – increase participant scores and chances at entering high rank colleges/universities, Scholarship opportunities, Women Empowerment Classes/Workshops, Women Workforce Development • Religious Teachings– The community center will offer Sunday school teachings and have a more structured atmosphere for students to learn: Quraan Classes, Intensive Revert Courses, Revert Retreats, Saba’ah Qiraat Courses • After School Programs - The community center will offer different enrichment, educational, culture, and spiritual clubs and activities. • Drug Prevention Classes - The community center will offer these prevention classes for youth with a focus on spirituality. • Community Outreach – The community center will be a place of support for the community. The following support and resources will be offered: Youth Counseling, Soup Kitchen, Food Distribution, Basic Needs Distribution
