Mission Statement
TutorVille's mission is to foster a lifelong love for learning that extends well beyond the classroom. The TutorVille Foundation extends that mission to specifically support children who are battling cancer and have had their education impacted due to their diagnosis.
About This Cause
Many do not know that when a child is diagnosed with cancer, most schools will not allow that child to remain a student because they are unable to care for them. We want to empower these families with resources, courage, hope and a sense of normalcy – so that these children don’t fall behind on their educational journey while they focus on winning their battle with cancer. The TV Foundation provides scholarships for tutoring, homeschool, or tuition to a program/school of their choice and educational materials such as textbooks and workbooks. In addition, TutorVille is able to provide services and a since of normalcy to these students during their treatment, such as tutoring or homeschool in the hospital.
