To increase the number of age-appropriate books in the homes of children in Beaverton (Oregon) and to promote Kindergarten readiness
About This Cause
To promote literacy, children in Beaverton (Oregon) receive a free age-appropriate book each month in the mail until the age of five. Beaverton families can enroll, regardless of family income. The program is funded by donations. It was launched in 2022 and is currently growing.
