Mission Statement
YouthTank Detroit is a business incubator for high school student-led startups that empower teens to carve an alternate pathway to career success and create jobs in their neighborhoods.
About This Cause
It is harder and more expensive than ever to go to college, and students in Detroit deserve support to fully access multiple pathways to career success. YouthTank Detroit was designed by young entrepreneurs for young entrepreneurs. Founder Holly Arida is a champion for students marginalized by income, race, or traditional education. YouthTank provides action-based learning experiences, where high school students earn work-ready and entrepreneurship skills from startup founders and community leaders. YouthTank mentors students as they launch businesses on their high school campuses to impact their communities.
